Description André Klapper 2005-07-15 21:56:46 UTC
Distribution/Version: suse9.3

this is a tracking meta bug for requests / reports about missing menu entries or
places where a menu item shout be placed instead of the current place (so
usability). it is also about issues discussing at how many places a menu item
should be placed (for example main menu, context right-click menu and so on).

this is NOT about keyboard shortcuts / key kombinations (with "ctrl" or "alt" or
the function keys).
this is also NOT about mnemonics (the line under one character of a menu entry
which can be accessed by pushing that character sometimes combined with the
"alt" key).
i hope to also file bug report about this within the next days/weeks and going
to add links here in a later comment.
Comment 1 André Klapper 2005-07-15 22:06:45 UTC
...adding the dependencies.

dobey, i'm adding you to cc since you've been working generally on the mneu
rewrites.
sravagan, i'm adding you to cc because you have already fixed bugs like bug
242154 in the contacts and there are some similar bugs included in the list.

for a bug report about keyboard shortcuts / key combinations, please take a look
at meta tracking bug 310552.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2005-07-15 22:22:09 UTC
removing three wrong dependencies, sorry for the noise :-/

Apologies for any spam... cc'ing usability-maint on all Evolution usability
bugs. Filter on EVO-USABILITY-SPAM to ignore.

Bumping version to a stable release.
Comment 6 André Klapper 2021-05-19 12:14:25 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
