GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 270965
Right click on the attachment bar in the mail composer should give an option to attach the Contact information
Last modified: 2012-02-08 12:48:30 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg) Package: Evolution Priority: Wishlist Version: GNOME2.8.0 2.0.2 Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc Synopsis: Right click on the attachment bar in the mail composer should give an option to attach the Contact information Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Mailer Bugzilla-Version: 2.0.2 Description: Please describe your feature request: When I write a new email I might want to attach a vCard with someone's info. A right click on the attachment bar should give a menu to chose weather I want to attach a file, or a Contact, (or a task ...) Right now I have to either start a new email from the "Contacts" by right clicking on a contact and chosing to forward the contact, or I have to save a contact to a file and attach the file. Setting qa contact to the default for this product. This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one.
Seems to work for me.
Drag and drop the attachments from "address-book view" to Composer. It will add the VCF.
Bumping version to a stable release.
