still valid in evolution-2.1.3.2.0.200501160930-0.snap.ximian.10.1,
please do this for 2.3, i was getting really frustated searching how
to assign a task and only finding it in the right-click menu. it's
even missing in the normal main menu!

one option is to always show the assignment tab and delete the right-
click menu option.
the other option is to make the option much more clear and accessible,
e.g. by putting it into a main menu.
i prefer the first one, please comment on this.

2.1.5 has two items in the "new" dropdown menu: "assigned task" and
"task". i'd like to close this one here, comments?

still missing in 2.3.5.1

If you want the assignment task by default. Please use the New Assigned Task
menu item. Both are different in usage. One is for personal use and other is to
assign task to someone. Im closing as invalid. Please reopen if u find it odd.
