Inbox display: new mail entering the inbox is in bold type. This helps, however, right clicking when the display is only message summaries does not offer an "open" option. The only way to open a new mail is either to reply to it or to edit it as if it were a new message. Not ideal?

Distribution: Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy)
Gnome Release: 2.20.1 2007-10-19 (Ubuntu)

True. "Open" should be the first item in the context menu.

Not True. Press Enter, double-click on it, or select Message -> Open in New Window from the main menu.

for evolution 2.4 we removed a lot of stuff from the context menus to make them usable again, and i'm against adding anything again. using the "enter" key should be fine so i'd close this as WONTFIX.

Fair enough. I wasn't around for the 2.4 cycle.

Closing as WONTFIX.
