GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 208647
right click on trashcan doesn't give an empty option
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:54:34 UTC
Description of Problem: Right clicking on the trash can doesn't give me an empty trashcan option. This is expected behavior, I don't want to look for it in the menus. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Right click on trashcan 2. Go searching for the empty option that you didn't find on the context menu. 3. Actual Results: No context menu item to empty trash can. Expected Results: A context menu item to empty trash can. How often does this happen? Additional Information:

Still missing in 2.2.1.1 -> change version number? It's been more than 3 years since bug creation, by the way.
yeah, three years, so what? if you want it, code it... ;-) (note that i am not a developer.) there will be a menu rewrite for 2.4, by the way.
Sure I'll code, as I pass my secondary school final exams and grab a nice GTK+ tutorial. Does it make sense to make a patch if there will be a menu rewrite? My first (there were 2) patch for an open source project weren't commited just because one developer was completely rewriting the part of code patch was changing...
still missing in 2.3.5.1
