Location Bar details appeared in other mockups, so, I will separate them here, for modularity, focus and consistency.

About the search button, remember thas the current search we have it Find, not Search, IIRC.
I'm not sure about merging the search in the web and find int this page features under the same search button and location bar. If I see a search button in the toolbar I would expect it to show the searchbar. I like the idea of using icons on the left of the url in the completion menu for bookmarks, history, opened tab, etc.

Do you really want the back/forward buttons to be un-linked? I also am not fond of the search button, nor am I quite sure what the point is. The location entry autocompletion should be improved as desired without the need for extra buttons. Any thoughts on bug #739634?
Diogo, Maybe I'm missing the rationale about this design, but this doesn't look like an improvement to me, would you explain what are you trying to achieve?

So this seems pretty much like Allan's design, except Allan doesn't have the search button, rather his design calls for the entire location bar to be a button. I think that's for the better -- the extra search button doesn't seem particularly intuitive, especially considering you can type URLs there (which is not a search!).
