0.26.2 was tagged: http://git.gnome.org/browse/xchat-gnome/tag/?id=XCHAT_GNOME_0_26_2 but I can't find the release tarballs on ftp.gnome.org or anywhere else. Should this bug be closed and the tarballs uploaded somewhere?
ping
In xchat-gnome0.26.1fc16(32bit) and the main xchat2.8.8fc16 I cannot remember my server password nor view any reset info to connect nor view anything about a server password anywhere?
Tony: Unrelated to this specific bug report. Please ask in a forum instead.
Have you think on making a big release with stuff from 'master'? Looks like Fedora and openSuSE are needing to apply a bunch of patches over old code, and Debian is using an snapshot from 2013 to get rid of old gnome2 libs Maybe would be more interesting if upstream could make a new release to prevent this divergences Thanks
All depends-on are strike-through so what is needed for a new release? I would like to update the package for openSUSE.
xchat-gnome is not under active development anymore. Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/xchat-gnome/commits/master Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather reactivate the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. You may want to switch to Hexchat (or another IRC client that suits you).
