The reason is that its authors aren't working on xchat-gnome anymore,
and the only maintenance I'm doing is looking at the occasional patch,
and making releases to get new translations out.

If you want to help out, you'd be very welcome. I don't have access to
the homepage, but the wiki page can take that over, and anyone can edit
the wiki, just sign up for an account.
