Description Jan Rüegg 2009-10-02 11:23:15 UTC
It would be nice to be able to switch tabs with a key shortcut like "ctrl+Tab", as it is possible in firefox, for example.
Comment 1 Christian Persch 2009-10-02 16:17:55 UTC
No other Gnome MDI application does this. In fact, this has been explicitly rejected every time it's come up; see e.g. epiphany bug 122467 (+ some non-marked dups), gnome-terminal bug 123994 + dups, gedit bug 314646, empathy bug 586831.

you can switch tab with control + avg pag or reg pag.

This smells like a duplicate that we've already closed NOTABUG/WONTFIX, but since I can't find it at the moment we'll just close this one as WONTFIX per ChPe's comment.

Ok, just maybe upload video somewhere how you can do the Ctrl+PgUp with one hand as power users are used to do the Ctrl+Tab.

I understand that something is used now. I do not understand why it cannot be changed to better alternative.
