currently only ctr+pg up/pg down is enabled.

ctr tab is right now more popular combination,it will also benefit users switching from pidgin.

Also the problem with ctr +pg up is that it doesnt work when one is at the last tab in the list as then we have to use ctr pg down

So ctr tab should be used which can cycle the list of tabs

I didn't know about ctr-tab. epiphany, gedit and gnome-termianl does not have that. I only can only do ctr-tab with firefox...

But that seems a good idea. I think that should be discussed at the GNOME level (a GNOME goal?) to make that behaviour in all applications.

FWIW, this has been already considered, and rejected, in all apps you cite: epiphany bug 122467 (+ some non-marked dups), gnome-terminal bug 123994 + dups, gedit bug 314646.

Bug #621402 is a duplicate of this. I cannot find a way to set it in Bugzilla, probably I donßt have the rights.

Btw, Ißve attepted to patch on that #621402 other copy.
