Description Karsten Bräckelmann 2006-08-23 00:05:56 UTC
Edit a Contact with neither Birthday nor Anniversary set.

* Add a Birthday, see it appear in the Calendar.

* Then add an Anniversary, see it appear in the Calendar.
  However, the Birthday now is *not* being displayed. [1]

* Unset Birthday.
  Note that the Anniversary disappeared from the Calendar, too. [1]

* Set the Birthday again.
  Note that the Anniversary disappeared from the Calendar, again. [1]

* Unset Anniversary.
  Note that the Birthday disappeared from the Calendar, too. [1]

* Set the Anniversary again. Note that both Birthday and Anniversary
  disappeared from the Calendar... [1]

Edit a Contact with neither Birthday nor Anniversary set.

* Add an Anniversary, see it appear in the Calendar.

* Then add a Birthday. Note that both Birthday and Anniversary
  disappeared from the Calendar... [1]

[1] Disabling and re-enabling the Birthdays and Anniversaries Calendar makes the missing one appear again. Just uncheck and re-check the checkbox next to the Calendar in the tree...

While testing I constantly switched between Calendar and Adress Book.

See bug 306963 comment 2 for some hints when and by whom a related bug has been fixed. This probably is a result of that code.

*sigh*

More digging for related bugs... Seems this most likely is a duplicate of bug 311098 actually.
