Description gwsp1 2005-06-08 23:56:55 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg)
Package: Evolution
Severity: minor
Version: GNOME2.8.0 2.0.4
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: Anniversary not displayed on calendar if birthday set
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar
Bugzilla-Version: 2.0.4
Description:
Description of Problem:

If a contact has both the Birthday field set and the Anniversary field
set then the Anniversary will not be displayed on the Calendar, only the
Birthday will be displayed on the Calendar.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Enter a date in the Birthday field of a contact
2. Enter a date in the Aniversary field of the same contact
3. Switch to Calendar, be sure Contacts -> Birthdays & Anniversaries is
checked
4. Use Month view (or any other view as far as I can tell) to display
month with Birthday date (note birthday is displayed)
5. Adjust view to display month with Annivesary date (note no event is
displayed)

Actual Results:

No Anniversary event is visible.

Expected Results:

Anniversary event will be displayed on date of Anniversary.

How often does this happen?

Every time the contact also has the Birthday field set.

Additional Information:

Could be bug in Addressbook component but Bug Buddy made me pick only
one, so I picked the display part as it appears that is the broken
part.

Don't recall the bug number, but it was fixed by vivek in 2.3.x, so closing
