Description Stephen Kennedy 2003-07-17 13:32:56 UTC
Description of Problem:

There is only one global 'sent folder'

Expected Results:

It would be great to have an option to save _replies_
in the same folder as the replied-to message.

This means you get a nice threaded view of a conversation
and makes it easier to archive and search as all related
items are together.

Bug 446121 is about specifying this feature per-folder (as in KMail for example), but having a global setting would also be very useful and probably easier.

missing this feature in evolution mail is the only reason i need to use thunderbird. so please, add it!!!!!!!

If I understand this request properly, then this had been addressed by bug #268618, thus I mark this as a duplicate of it. See Mail account Properties->Defaults tab->Save replies in the folder of the message being replied to.
