Description Sam Morris 2011-08-24 09:37:50 UTC
When sharing an IMAP account with other users (for instance, a role-based account such as one used for technical support), I find it best to configure mailers to store sent messages in the IMAP account's inbox, so that they can be viewed by other users as part of the email threads that are being dealt with.

When configuring Thunderbird to do this the other day, I saw that it had a nice option: the option to store sent messages in the INBOX by default, except when the message is a reply; in this case, store the message in the same folder as the message being replied to.

This would be quite nice in Evolution as well, as currently when I reply to a message in a folder, I have to then move the sent message just stored from the INBOX to the folder manually.
