Comment 5 Elijah Newren 2002-12-02 21:14:22 UTC
Note that Kjartan obtained bug 100164 by changing themes with
gnome-theme-manager and then closing the dialog.
Comment 6 Mark McLoughlin 2002-12-04 02:19:54 UTC
So I've just committed a re-write of the background rendering code. If
this bug was due to memory corruption in the old code it may have gone
away ... I have my doubts though.

So, anyone who saw this regularily - I'd appreciate if you could
update and let us know if you still get this bug.
Comment 7 Mark McLoughlin 2002-12-15 19:45:26 UTC
I think this is the same issue as #97487. If anyone can reproduce with
 >= 2.1.4, then please re-open.

Alex has reproduced it with 2.1.5 (see bug #101836). Reopening.
Comment 11 Mark McLoughlin 2003-01-06 05:12:24 UTC
Alex: are you sure this is 2.1.5 ? Does it happen regularily ? Are you
using a transparent panel ?
Comment 12 Mark McLoughlin 2003-01-06 05:15:01 UTC
Re-opening as per Alex's comments in #101953

This happened in 2.0.9 too (see last duplicate).
Comment 15 Kjartan Maraas 2003-02-17 21:01:54 UTC
Has anyone seen this with recent releases?
Comment 16 Alex Duggan 2003-02-17 21:03:11 UTC

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 101953 ***
Comment 17 Mark McLoughlin 2003-03-10 02:07:21 UTC
Okay, we're not seeing any dups in 2.2.x - I think we have to assume
its fixed. Re-open if there's more recent dups.
