Description Brion Vibber 2014-10-16 10:32:38 UTC
I'm trying to get Pitivi building on Mac OS X 10.9.5; I was recommended to build via GStreamer's Cerbero build system, and have gotten many of the dependencies working but it's not quite there yet.

Adding individual issues I find as bug dependencies.

I don't think it's a real blocker for pitivi, you can still build for x86_64 and that would give you support for most of the mac computers (all with the intel core 2 duo or newer), which where first released in 2006.

(I assume this is referring to the universal build thingy) -- yeah building for x86_64 only should be fine; the current OS X versions only run on 64-bit-capable systems anyway. With current state of bug 735866 things build correctly for single-arch, but it sounds like things might be in flux?

Note that https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=738707 and https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=738707 have been "worked around" for now so are not really blocking anymore, not sure if we should just remove them for the blocking list.
