GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 701537
Thumbnails can gets blank after coming back from fullscreen
Last modified: 2017-10-18 19:04:18 UTC
Created attachment 245932 [details] Screenshot showing the issue with empty thumbnails I did the following with a new document: 1. Open the document 2. F11 (go fullscreen) 3. F9 (to show the sidebar) 4. Narrow the sidebar to show only one thubnails per row 5. Page down 6. F11 (leave fullscreen) Sometimes I can reproduce it with: 1. Open the document 2. F11 (go fullscreen) 3. F9 (show the sidebar) 4. F11 (leave fullscreen) Result: There was no icons in the thumbnails. They get once I click in the scrollbar of the sidebar. It seems is missing to refresh the thumbnails view.

Thanks for taking the time to report this. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed in the code repository. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 691448 ***
It cannot be a duplicate bug 691448 if I can reproduce the issue with the patch from that bug already applied.

Yes my bad, as I tested with patch in bug 342110 applied, and thumbnails were showing fine with it. In fact I've noticed this bug makes sidebar move to first item without updating scroll bar.

Germán, now after first patch in bug 342110 is applied, I cannot reproduce this bug. Can you confirm that? in that case feel free to close again. > In fact I've noticed this bug makes sidebar move to first item without > updating scroll bar. I've filed bug 783404 for that (with a patch), I'd appreciate your feedback on said patch.
Now it works as expected. Good job. Thanks!
Will there be a new release shipping this bugfix any time soon? Thanks!
