GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 664632
Synchronization menu empty on 1.8.3
Last modified: 2012-04-02 16:45:45 UTC
On Windows 7 using tomboy 1.8.3, when I open Edit->Preferences->Synchronization the service menu is empty.
Same problem here-- installed 1.8.3 on Windows Vista and the Synchronization Services menu is empty and it says "not configurable."
Same issue. tomboy 1.8.3 setup on a fresh install of windows 7 enterprise. Synchronization Services menu is empty and it says "not configurable" like the two above. Reverted to 1.6 and all is well
Same problem. Windows 7. Tomboy 1.8.3. Synchronization menu is empty and text below says "not configurable."
Same issue here with 1.8.3. Updated from 1.3 and sync broke. If I disable & enable the web sync plugin, Tomboy exits immediately upon re-enabling. After almost a month since the first report and continuing reports I would say this is no longer unconfirmed. This makes Tomboy practically useless...
Exact same behavior described here happened with 1.8.3 in windows xp. Synchronization "not configurable" I downgraded to 1.6.0 and everything works.
I've uploaded a build if anyone wants to try. see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=664404

I too have this issue. Any version after 1.6.0 does not sync or have options for configuring sync. I am using windows XP 32bit.

This has been resolved with the latest Windows build (1.9.9) http://projects.gnome.org/tomboy/download.html
