Hi.

When a window is inactive, the color in the window decoration gets lighter, appearing a discontinuity in the color of the whole window... and I suppose is not intended to be that way (it seems ugly to me)

Attached a screenshot showing what I mean.

using gnome-themes-standard 2.91.93

Yes, we're aware of this; see [1] for the proposed mockup.
This also requires changes in GTK+, so we decided to punt it to 3.2.
