GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 604709
Unable to search Contacts by Nickname while viewing Contacts
Last modified: 2011-11-12 09:30:28 UTC
Hi, The is a regression. While viewing the Exchange GAL Contacts, I can't search using the Nickname. Strangely enough, I am able to do so while typing on the "TO:, CC: and BCC:" fields while composing a new message. Our company users use Nicknames to identify themselves over the phone. Can this be please reverted? Regards, Harald
This is still an issue in 2.28.3. Nickname searches lead to an everlasting search which never shows any result.
@Evolution/Evolution Exchange team: I take time to report bugs, sometime this requires a lot of time, but I do so to have issues fixed and be able to work more confortably. At the end, this is a benefit for both. But if I report bugs and noone looks/replies them, I will no longer do so! This is ridiculous! This bug : unseen/unresponded since 2009-12-16 Bug 611054: unseen/unresponded since 2010-02-25 Bug 610910: no further responses since 2010-02-25 Bug 610378: unseen/unresponded since 2010-02-18 Bug 607418: unseen/unresponded since 2010-01-19 The ONLY bug thats been taken care of since I started reporting bugs for Evolution is Bug 603958, and this thanks to Fabio Durán Verdugo.
