Description Janvitus 2009-04-23 09:59:14 UTC
I'm sorry if this request is already filed.
At this time hidden status show the same icon of the offline status, this confuses the user. I think it's better to have two different icon for the hidden and offline status.
Regards :)

I agree, a specific icon would be good.

ubuntu ships this icon for hidden status in the user-switch-applet
Comment 3 Xavier Claessens 2009-05-22 09:41:42 UTC
It is not at all consistent with other icons IMO. Do you have other sizes and SVG format?
Comment 4 Nicolò Chieffo 2009-05-22 10:01:21 UTC
In what sense it is not at all consistent with other icons?
in the sense that you would prefer a white square instead of a white pentagon?

Maybe you are right!

svg are not shipped even in the source package. they are embedded in a patch using uuencode
Comment 5 Nicolò Chieffo 2009-05-22 10:02:25 UTC
I forgot to say I have other sizes: 16,22,24,32,48
do I have to attach them?

I can't really tell. I just feel it's not that same kind of thing... Maybe it's just me and others think it's fine?

This has been fixed with bug #602420. Empathy now uses "user-invisible" if available.
