Description Christofer Steingrefer 2008-01-03 18:59:57 UTC
Hi,

sorry my english isn't very good, but I have found two Bugs in your programm:

When I want to edit a file from FTP-Server, the programm doesn't download the file first temporary, the opened editor wants to open the file directly from the FTP-Server and this doesn't work.

Another problem is that I can't use chmod on my FTP-Server. I think this is also a bug in your programm. So, I hope you can fix it soon because I cant use Gnome-Commander really when this two things don't work. I think they are important.

Yours faithfully

Christofer Steingrefer

I see this bug was added in 2008 so I don't know if Gnome Commander is still in development.

I can confirm this bug.

There is a problem with editing remote files (for example FTP). It just don't work.

I can also confirm problems with CHMOD.
