Description Carl Gherardi 2004-05-27 07:56:30 UTC
The main view in evolution has 4 buttons - Mail,
Contacts, Calendar, Tasks.

I'd like to see these buttons(at least the mail
button) the number of currently unread messages.

It would be handy when in Calendar or Task view to
be able to see how many unread mail I had.
Comment 1 André Klapper 2005-08-06 15:25:05 UTC
perhaps the same problems as described in bug 260354.

changing component to "Mailer" to get rid of the UI component (and because bug
260354 has also set mailer as component), also reassigning
as discussed with nags... adding UI keyword.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2006-02-05 03:06:11 UTC
very related to bug 329823
Comment 3 Milan Crha 2007-10-11 14:07:15 UTC
Does it matter? I meant that number. I think with fixed bug 329823 is this fixed too, because what is the difference if you didn't read 1 or 10 messages?
Comment 4 Matthew Barnes 2007-10-11 15:07:00 UTC
I agree with Milan. In addition to the new feature in bug #329823, we already display the unread message count in the window title and have umpteen different mechanisms for notifying the user when a new message arrives.

Closing as WONTFIX.
