Description Steve Farrell 2004-04-28 18:42:26 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable
Package: Evolution
Priority: Normal
Version: GNOME2.6. unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: GNOME.Org
Synopsis: Need way to merge records
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook]
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Please describe your feature request:

It's easy to get duplicate records (e.g., same person, two different
email addresses). It should be equally easy to merge two records
together. Basically I want bbdb-refile-record. It should be even
easier in evolution - -e.g., it could be initiated by dragging one
record onto another.

Excellent idea, unfortunately feature freeze has hit, however we now
have a bbdb plugin in evolution that will atleast record your contacts.
