GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 226432
confirm closing/exiting main evolution window
Last modified: 2010-08-12 14:36:18 UTC
As much as I normally hate this sort of thing, it might be a nice touch to make Evolution prompts to make sure you meant to close the main window (with a checkbox to say "Never ask me again, you stupid computer" for most people, of course) Normally these are obnoxious, but I (and other people; I've seen mail about it on various lists) have sawfish focus problems periodically, where it doesn't catch that you've moved to another window. This seems to more often than not bite me when I move my cursor from evolution to another window, and hit my keyboard shortcut to close it, and wind up killing evolution by mistake. I would ocassionaly do the same thing with Galeon, but fortunately that now prompts if you're killing a window with multiple tabs, which made me think to file this. So this isn't a really critical issue, and most people probably would disable the feature, but I figured I'd ask, just in case someone thought it was worth doing.

guess this won't happen within the next time, contributions welcome.
Bumping version to a stable release.
Not worth implementing this if most people won't want it. I don't.
