Description Dan Winship 2002-02-07 20:40:24 UTC
Newly-created accounts need to appear immediately, and we can do that.

Deleted accounts need to disappear, and we can't currently do that.

Modified accounts need to modify, and that has some of the same
problems as deleting.
Comment 1 Dan Winship 2004-08-26 19:56:29 UTC
too late for 2.0
Comment 2 Dan Winship 2004-08-31 14:09:30 UTC
This should really definitely get into 2.2
Comment 3 Sushma Rai 2005-03-04 06:08:05 UTC
Better to do it along with "removal of connector button".
Comment 4 Krishnan R 2005-07-18 07:40:39 UTC
Reassiging these to the maintainer 'surfy'.
Comment 5 Praveen Kumar 2005-08-18 09:23:46 UTC
A partial fix is done to address this issue. Most of the changes doesn't need
Evolution to restart now. The only changes that needs a restart are changes made
to the username, owaurl and GC server. We are planning to address this in 2.5.
Hence moving to target 2.5
Comment 6 Poornima 2006-07-21 11:33:54 UTC
it would be good if we could do for 2.8, so setting target milestone. I have observed local synch requires evolution to be restarted.
Comment 7 Tim Reilly 2006-11-27 23:01:28 UTC
I'm curious if there was progress on this somewhere but that it was lost. With 2.8 it's still not possible to change username without restarting and sometimes it even crashes during the process.

Very low on the priority list for the connector. Now with MAPI able to connect to Exchange 2003 server, and these change reflected instantly I am closing this bug.

Works with MAPI on 2.28.x and 2.30.x versions. Closing as WONTFIX since part of the bug is still valid.
