Description Lars Weber 2004-01-04 06:29:45 UTC
Following the instructions at

  http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gup/ui-review/howto_write_ui_review.html

I'm going to initiate a UI-review of gucharmap.

As explained in the document above, this bug is used to keep track of the
UI-review related bugs by depending on all of them.

Since this is my first formal UI-review I'd greatly appreciate comments
on/criticism of my general approach by both the maintainer(s) and more
experienced UI-reviewers!

Of course, additional bugs on things I've overlooked and comments on the
submitted bugs are also more than welcome!

Additional comment:

While I'll try to refrain from complete UI re-designs (which I don't
believe are necessary anyway), many of the changes I'll propose will
be more than just HIG-polish like capitalization changes, etc. If
you feel this is not appropriate for an UI-review please tell me!

In any case, the maintainer(s) and other people are always free to
disregard my proposals as misguided/on crack/etc. :)
