GStreamer crash in gst_mad_get_type

Package: rhythmbox Severity: normal Version: 0.4.99.5 Synopsis: rhythmbox suddenly crashed while playing a song Bugzilla-Product: rhythmbox Bugzilla-Component: General BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.2) Description: Description of Problem: I was hearing songs with rhythmbox, and suddenly the music died, the interface when called up from the system try icon is no more responsive (and don't refresh itself) and bugbuddy appeared for me to fill a bug, which is what i am now doing. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. No idea, it is the first time it happens with this version of rhythmbox, but i hope you can still learn things with the trace information provided by bugbuddy. 2. 3. Actual Results: It crashes (as i am now used to :((() Expected Results: It should work. How often does this happen? One time right now, i will make more tests, but didn't want to loose the bugbuddy provided information. Additional Information: I have disabled the gnome events. Sven - could you recompile rb with DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=noopt,nostrip and try to reproduce this crash? We really need debugging information.

I just easily reproduced this by using gst-launch-ext to launch a test mp3 file, so it is definitely a problem with GStreamer, or a library it's using like mad.
GStreamer people - let me know and I can make a test MP3 that the submitter provided to me in private mail available to you as well.
