Description Olivier Crête 2003-04-12 14:34:25 UTC
Package: gnome-panel
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.2.1 2.2.1
os_details: Gentoo Linux
Synopsis: Panel crashes when removing menu panel
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel
Bugzilla-Component: Panel
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1)
Description:
Description of Problem:

In a "new account" I tried to remove the annoying menu panel and the
whole thing crashes... I have seen this on more than one machine...

Second thing... the default setup should have a medium panel at the
bottom and not a shitty meny panel at the top!

Other than bug 110002, this appears to be a unique stack trace
(according to the simple-dup-finder). Setting version->2.2.x, marking
priority->high & severity->critical (it's a crasher), adding
GNOMEVER2.2 and bugsquad keywords, and marking as new.
Comment 3 Mark McLoughlin 2003-04-13 21:35:12 UTC
Arvind: this is prolly fixed by your FOOBAR_IS_WIDGET patch right ?
Comment 4 Arvind S N 2003-04-14 03:37:31 UTC
Mark: yes it should fix the problem.

Olivier: The choice of your words would not help the cause.
Thanks for the report nonetheless.
