Description Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2009-08-03 20:27:57 UTC
While toolbars are not the most accessible way to interact with any application, it would be nice if we did a better job of presenting the items in the OOo toolbars. In particular:

1. Arrowing around in items with text cause the text to be repeated and the word 'selected' to be tacked on.

2. We say "off"/"on" for all toggle buttons; not just formatting toggle buttons (We went with off/on due to things like bold, underline and italics; it doesn't make sense for new, save, etc.)

3. We don't present jack when the user arrows around in the color-related ones (e.g. highlight)

4. If you press Ctrl+F1 on a toolbar button to cause the tooltip to be shown, Orca doesn't speak it.

Issue 2 is now bug 591871.
Comment 3 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2009-08-15 05:12:21 UTC
Issue 4 (from comment #1) is now bug 591873.
Comment 4 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2009-08-24 15:35:51 UTC
Issue 1 is now bug 592917.
Comment 5 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2009-08-24 16:03:45 UTC
Issue 3 is now bug 592921 (and blocked because we're not getting any events from OOo).

Now that all of the issues in this bug have been addressed via their own, specific bugs, I'm closing this one out as a dup.
