GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 155905
TRACKER: tasklist appearance bugs
Last modified: 2018-01-24 13:24:02 UTC
This will be a tracker for libwnck tasklist appearance bugs. It will avoid bugs involving actions (e.g. when I click on X it doesn't do what I expect, or I'd like to be able to do Y. Rather, just things like "Z doesn't look right"). I'll start it off by adding the following dependencies in a minute: 32646 - rotate tasklist text in side panels 52225 - sort windows by either launch time or most recently used time 81222 - should iconified windows show in other workspaces? 84411 - allow having only minimized windows in the tasklist 83393 - libwnck ignores focus-line-width of theme 91655 - figure out how to present minimized windows (dimmed, bracketed, etc.) 99604 - better abbreviation of titles -- mozilla/netscape algorithm 102663 - show a window as active when one of its transients has focus 110705 - tasklist icons should scale with tasklist size 113507 - inverted colours for some tasklist icons 120439 - add urgent flashing to the tasklist (depends on gtk+ bug 150594) 125023 - fix tasklist sizing behavior (cf. bug 155870) 141181 - dialogs with empty titles are listed in the tasklist 151198 - add spacing between buttons 154040 - window list for single panel busted with xinerama 154041 - window list busted with xinerama temporarily 155865 - padding around icons and text is too small 155867 - default icon is wrong size and uses wrong metaphor 155868 - ellipsize window titles when too long 155870 - make a max size for the buttons in the tasklist (cf. bug 125023)
Moving to the right component. Sorry for the spam.
167932: Set GTK_RELIEF_NONE on tasklist buttons
167745 - Pager flickers when moving window on other workspace (has a patch, hint, hint ;))
342696 - sort windows according to workspace (w/ secondary sort by creation time) (also, I'm removing 167745 added by Christian, even if it's already fixed because it was NOT a tasklist bug)
