GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 97260
Nautilus does not remember properties for mount
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
1. Mount any device using nautilus. (I use the usb-storage device of my camera at /mnt/camera). 2. Right click the mount's icon and go to the properties dialog. 3. Change the Icon. 4. Unmount the device. 5. Mount again. 6. Icon will be default, not the one you chose.
It also does not remember the position of the device on the desktop
The custom icon is also forgotten after an unmount in version 2.1.2. Bug #95648 is about mount-icons forgetting their location on the desktop.
