Description Steve Smith 2002-10-13 00:31:32 UTC
To reproduce:

Mount CDROM
Move CDROM icon
Unmount CDROM
Mount CDROM

Icon ends up in default position

Not really a bug, more an enhancement, but it's counter-intuitive and
mildly annoying.

This is under garnome 0.18.0 (i.e. gnome 2.1.0)

I'm pretty sure this is a duplicate, but hey, updating anyways. This
indeed would be nice.
Comment 2 Aschwin van der Woude 2002-11-25 15:49:38 UTC
The position is also forgotten in version 2.1.2.

Bug #97260 is about properties like a custom icon being forgotten for
mount-icons when mounting/unmounting/mounting/.

Added dependency on bug #45953, because it holds a bit more general
discussion surrounding this issue.

I don't really agree this is an enhancement, but I will leave it as such.

Seems to work with nautilus 2.4. Could you test with this version to
see if the bug is still here ?

Thanks
