Can I suggest that part of the free software social contract is the filing of helpful bug reports. We work hard to develop the software, and you help out by using it and reporting bugs so we can fix them. If you wanna rant and call us "punks" and criticize our "horrible programming with basic tools", I suggest you go out and buy commercial software and then you can pay for the right to be an asshole. Alternatively, you can jump in and help with the improvement of this software. In this case, it would be useful to know what you mean by "massive amounts of data" - how many files of what size? FYI, this appears to be a unique stack trace.
Make sure to mark high/critical when marking it as bug_squad, John.
fine, redhat 8.0 was messing up all over the place, this was just the most random thing to error that it created this response. The problem was that in trying to empty the bin, it said it could not. However, I could go and sucessfully delete it individually or as a folder out of the bin. By massive amounts I am guessing no more than 100mb. Had some stuff ... i don't exactly recall as it wasn't my computer, my friends I was setting up...i know it contained unzipped gcc source.

Other bug suggests it could occur during copy/paste as well.

Apologies for the spam- I'm removing 'bugsquad' from some keywords via the web interface. This is a one-time only thing before I re-add bugsquad via the SQL interface, which will generate no mail. Apologies again.

I'm pretty sure i've fixed this on HEAD. It was a utf8 issue in the progress dialog.
How do I, as an end user, correct this utf8 issue? I really want to help out good programming, but I need ti know how to patch my nautilus (or recompilit, or what?)
