Calum: why hasn't this been done already ? Was there some reason for
it, or if there another bug logged ?

Bug #72008 should cover this-- it only refers to the Apps & Actions
menus, but it should apply equally to the foot menu.  You marked it as
an enhancement for 2.2.x :)

Yeah, it would require string breakage so it had to be punted. I'll
mark this as a dup of #72008
