Thanks for the bug report, but these broken links are already
mentioned in bug #83578.

Is the website available via anonymous CVS?
if so please tell me where and what format of diff is preffered, so
that next time i can submit a patch for the website to change the page
have (Unavailable) after the link text.

this would indicate that the breakage is known about, and that there
is no need to report it.

I hope you will take this suggestion under advisement.
Comment 3 Alan Horkan 2002-07-08 13:14:14 UTC
i looked at 83578 in more detail

instead of (unavailable as suggested above) a link to webarchive or
the google cache would probably be a better short term solution to
broken links.

Comment 4 Raphaël Quinet 2002-07-08 13:29:31 UTC
The web site is under CVS control, but not available to external
users. Anyway, I have implemented your suggestion and added
"(temporarily unavailable)" before the description of the broken
links. Thanks for that suggestion.

If you have further comments, please add them to bug #83578 so that
we only have one active bug report for this problem.

Changing all www.gimp.org bugs from gimp product to the gimp-web product,
including old closed/fixed bugs, and reassigning.
