Wouldn't it be nice if we could Group layers toguether and do 
transformations on a group of layers?  Everything divided by hierarchy? 

  Maybe even the Layer masks, selected floating layers, etc. could also 
be just one more item on a group.

Wouldn't it be nice if people would do a quick search on Bugzilla
before they submit a bug-report that has already been submitted last year?

It is probably better to mark this as a duplicate of bug #86337, which
is closer to what the reporter was suggesting.
