Description Charles Kerr 2002-05-20 16:20:20 UTC
gnome has info for user preferences on helper apps

Comment 4 Charles Kerr 2006-05-04 16:27:37 UTC
This a historical two-parter:

(1) the old gtk1 version of Pan launched outside apps to view attachments
like jpegs or gifs, which is what this orignal report was about.
Pan now displays them inline, so this part is `OBSOLETE'

(2) before 0.9x, pan used the preferences-set browser, or $BROWSER,
when the user clicked on a link. As of 0.9x Pan uses the gnome
API... so this part is `FIXED'
