Description sehrgut 2018-04-25 00:38:33 UTC
Patterns with a repeating unit smaller than the size of the swatch (such as ANSI hatch patterns) don't display in a form tiled up to the size of the pattern picker swatch. This makes it difficult to tell what the pattern will render as when tiled.

It would be better if, when swatches are generated, these small patterns are tiled into the swatch for display.

Thanks for the bug report, this issue has been brought up previously,
and there are two contradicting requests: tiling and scaling, please
the the discussion in the other bug report.
