Comment 1 Roman Horník 2018-04-16 09:08:56 UTC
When opening any image, the unneeded conversion to "32bit linear" will automatically start but fails at ~ 75%. Subsequent using of GIMP filters is possible but without any effect.
Comment 2 Roman Horník 2018-04-16 09:19:09 UTC
It's caused by "Image Import & Export" > "Import Policies" > "Promote imported images to floating point presision" enabled.
Comment 3 Ell 2018-04-16 12:18:06 UTC
Thanks for reporting. This is already fixed in master.
