Description Guido Trentalancia 2017-10-07 00:07:14 UTC
When enabled, the sidebar hides the main panel, so that it is not possible to use the application while showing the sidebar.

This is caused by the fact that the first time the application runs, it creates a window state file (cache in the user home dir, g_key_file) with a sidebar_width equal to zero.

Comment 5 André Klapper 2021-06-10 11:22:53 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of gnome-dictionary, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-dictionary/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
