Description Vincent Untz 2007-01-10 19:27:34 UTC
(smoketesting 2.17.5)

I don't think I ever used this feature, so it's probably the default size...

When I click "Similar words" in the menu, the sidebar takes all the space and leave nearly no space for the definition text area.

Still the case with 2.25.92 :-) Now it just happens when showing the sidebar for the very first time. (make sure to remove your gconf config)

/me is amused to find the same bug twice during two smoketesting sessions ;-)

Please check to see if https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=788621 and the patch attached there resolve this issue (it might be the same bug).
Comment 3 André Klapper 2021-06-10 11:23:25 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of gnome-dictionary, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-dictionary/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
