Enter a column of numbers and formulas. Expand the width of the column. Copy the column. Width of column remains narrow. Auto-fit width is adequate in some cases, but not all. Sometimes a specific width is needed. Perhaps in anticipation of longer entries or to maintain a consistent appearance across the spreadsheet.
