Description Armin Jenewein 2016-12-09 15:22:52 UTC
The color selection widgets that GTK3 uses do *not* have a color picker anymore, making it impossible to select a color that already is present somewhere on the screen. This was possible for many years, going back to GTK+ 1.x, as can be seen here:

https://developer.gnome.org/gtk-tutorial/stable/images/colorsel.png

I consider this a regression. In GTK 1.2, we had to wait over 2 and a half year to finally get one (see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80119), so please bring this functionality back to GtkColorChooserWidget in GTK3 if anyhow possible.
