Description rockorequin 2016-11-05 03:12:06 UTC
In file list mode, nautilus in Ubuntu used to either have a paste option in the titlebar menu or via a menu that could be opened from a "cog" symbol at the right-hand top of its window (and for a while, via the right-click menu if you right-clicked on whitespace instead of a file name).

But the only non-keyboard option I can find in nautilus 1:3.20.3-1ubuntu3.1 now is the right-click menu. However, this is not available when the nautilus window is full of filenames (as in the screenshot at https://launchpadlibrarian.net/291127595/no%20paste%20option.png), so pasting is impossible without the keyboard in this case.

This bug is filed also at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1637369.

While not exactly a duplicate, it is going to be fixed by the new action bar.
