Description Electric Prism 2016-07-05 16:30:02 UTC
#archlinux requires that users be registered with freenode to join.

1. Because Polari Joins before identified it pushes me out to #archlinux-unregistered

2. After identifying is complete it issues this message:
evilgrawity:	ElectricPrism: You can /join #archlinux now.

3. I then issue a command to join
/j #archlinux and it doesn't let me in - the user list will continue to say [0]

I'm not sure exactly what's wrong but it's a pretty big deal considering it makes polari unusable to me as I require a second app to do IRC for #archlinux.

There are two issue:

 1. we don't support NickServ passwords apart from
using msg/query to identify "manually" (bug 709982)
 2. we don't handle channel redirects/rejects; possibly
a tp-idle bug, though at least part of it is likely
in polari - in any case, we have bug 758267 for that

I don't think there's any issue not covered by those bugs.
