Bug 763961 was occurring since when started hidden, MainWindow.show_all() was never called before being presented due to a notification interaction. This bug probably occurred since the code managing the app activation, main window, presentation of the first-run account dialog, and the DB upgrade dialog is somewhat complex and split over a bunch of classes (app, controller, main window, and elsewhere?).

This is a reminder to tidy it all up.
