Description Allan Day 2016-02-18 16:12:30 UTC
The explanations for the third party and non-free tags are currently placed in blue boxes. This makes them very prominent, and adds a lot of visual noise to the details pages. Now that we have user reviews on the details pages, it ends up looking rather full and messy.

The latest mockups have proposals for a lighter approach which fits better with everything else that's on the page:

There is not really enough detail on the mockup for the different states (e.g. what do we show if an app is non-free and 3rd party?) so I think we should punt this to 3.21.x -- we're past UI freeze already and I'm struggling to get the other bits done.

The wireframe shows that case? The only difference to the current layout is that it's more compact, table like layout -- the tag in the first column, description on the right.

Can someone come up with some actual wording for these please. "You should be ashamed of yourself" isn't going to be awesome in RHEL...

I made a suggestion yesterday: "Not Free and Open Source Software"

I think that this bug got fixed with the new licence badges.
