Press the hotkey twice and observe for the chagnes in the panel applet. The value does not change to the next keymap in the list.
Works for me on Linux. Im guessing this is a Solaris issue.
Is this problem reproducible with latest version of applet, i.e. 1.102.0? I was not able to reproduce it.
This is the kind of question NEEDINFO would be appropriate for :)
AFAIK I had seen this fixed on the nightlies, a week before. Not able to see this working on latest nightlies coz of bug 89407, GKB applet not coming up. Closing this bug now. Please reopen if you experience this problem again.
