Description Leslie Satenstein 2015-11-12 13:02:52 UTC
Description of problem:

With version of Nautilus before Wayland, if we mounted a partition, an icon representing the drive appears on the desktop. The icon is there, but the option to unmount the drive is missing.

To do the unmounting, we now have multiple extra keystrokes to enter in order to do what could be done with one keystroke vis

a) Use tweaks to show list of mounted drives on the top panel, and to unmount the drive from there.

b) start nautilus, if left pane (showing drives) is not open, open it

c) search within other locations for the partition.

d) click on the icon representing the drive.

e) click unmount .

WHY FIVE operations when we could do it with ONE.
